Are my photos sent anywhere?

No. Skarp has no server and sends nothing. The app works in airplane mode too.

Is the original changed?

No. The sharp photo is saved as a new photo in Photos, next to the original.

Which photos work best?

Small, blurry and grainy photos: old family photos, scans and pictures that were compressed in messages and on social media.

How big can the photo get?

Up to 4 times bigger, as long as the result is at most 24 megapixels. Large photos can be sharpened at the same size (1×).

Why does Skarp ask for access to Photos?

Only to save the sharp photo. Skarp can’t see your library – you pick the photo to sharpen yourself.

Does it cost anything?

No. Skarp is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
